上外英语语言文学考研，散文题材翻译针对性训练

上外英语语言文学考研初试的”写作与汉译英科目”中汉译英题型通常占卷面分数的一半，近些年考的都是翻译一篇600左右的文学散文类作品，经常是评论、哲理类、虚构类作品文章。考试中时间比较充裕，可以根据习惯先后完成翻译或写作，建议先完成写作后完成翻译，时间把控会更好，完成后记得检查语法以及拼写。

练习一

江南的春天素称多雨，一落就是七八天。住在上海的人们，平日既感不到雨的需要，一旦下雨，天气是那么阴沉，谁也耐不住闷在狭小的家里。可是跑到外面，没有山，没有湖，也没有经雨的嫩绿的叶子，一切都不及晴天好；有时阔人的汽车从你身旁驰过，还得带一身泥污回来。记得六七年前初来上海读书，校里的功课特别忙，往往自修到午夜；那年偏又多雨，淅淅沥沥，打窗飘瓦，常常扰乱我看书的情绪。

Spring in Jiangnan is known for its abundant rain, which can last for seven or eight days. People living in Shanghai rarely feel the need for rain in daily life. Once it rains, the weather is so gloomy that no one can stand being cooped up in the house. Yet getting outdoors can provide little relief with no mountains, no lakes, and no green leaves after rain to admire. Nothing is as wonderful as sunny days. Sometimes a wealthy man’s car splashes past, leaving you with a muddy body. I recall my first year in Shanghai as a student six or seven years ago. With heavy schoolwork, I usually studied past midnight. It was a rather rainy year, with rain pattering on the windows and rooftiles often disturbing my concentration.

可是这种事情只在上海才会有。少时留居家乡，当春雨像鹅毛般落着的时候，登楼眺望，远处的山色被一片烟雨笼住，村落恍惚，若有若无，雨中的原野新鲜而又幽静，使人不易忘怀!尤其可爱的是夜间。不知哪一年春天，我和两个同伴，摇着小船到十里外一个镇上看社戏，完场已是午夜，归途遇雨，船在河塘中缓缓前进，灯火暗到辨不出人面，船身擦着河岸新生的茅草，发出沙沙的声音。雨打乌篷，悠扬疾徐，如听音乐，如闻节拍，和着同伴们土著的歌谣，“河桥风雨夜推篷”，真够使人神往。

But such a memory only exists in Shanghai. I stayed in my hometown in my youth, when spring rain fell as thick as goose feathers, I’d climb the tower to gaze into the distance.

（两个完整句子之间，一定要使用连词来连接。逗号连接两个独立句（run-on sentence），应避免：When I was young, living in my hometown, I would climb the tower to gaze into the distance whenever the spring rain fell thick like goose feathers）（What’s more不要使用缩写形式）

The mountains were enshrouded in the misty rain, the villages appeared faint (half-veiled), while the rain-soaked fields looked fresh and serene—it was truly unforgettable! Especially delightful were the nights. I remember one spring night when two companions and I rowed a small boat to a town five miles away to watch a village opera. By the time the performance ended, it was already midnight. But on our way back, it began to rain. Our boat advanced slowly along the river now enveloped in darkness, where the dim lantern light barely revealed our faces. The hull brushed against newly sprouted reeds along the bank, rustling softly all the way home. The rain beating on the awning (the top of this boat) gave off a pleasant sound, as if with musical rhythm(韵律）and cadence（节拍）. My companions began to sing, to the accompaniment of/in the beating of the drip-drop（雨滴）, the local folk song In a Boat by a Bridge on a Rainy Night. It was truly fascinating.

练习三

谁能否认海的伟大呢?我爱海，并不仅仅因为她的颜色美丽，和藏在海底那许多有趣的玩艺儿，而是爱她的胸襟广阔，化污秽为清洁。她容纳无数的细流，尽管它们的颜色有黑的也有黄的，一旦流到了海的怀抱，便立刻变成碧绿的了。碧绿是代表和平，代表一种静美。

一个人，哪怕他的脾气有如虎狼那么凶暴，我相信如果长住在海滨，一定会变得和羔羊一般驯良；同时，那些心怀狭隘的人，如果常与海做朋友，我相信他也会改变成豪爽，痛快的性格。

Who can deny the greatness of the sea? I love the sea, not merely for her beautiful colors or the many fascinating treasures hidden in her depth（in the depth of ……）, but for her broad-mindedness that purifies all that is foul/transform filth into clarity. She embraces /welcomes countless streams. Although some run black/dark and others yellow/muddy(积累描述不同物体，同一颜色在用词上的区别）, at the moment/when they enter her embrace, they become green. This green（clear shade of green, emerald翠绿色） represents peace, a serene beauty.

A person, even one with a temper as fierce as a tiger, I believe, would grow as gentle as a lamb after long dwelling by the sea. Similarly, those who are narrow-minded, if they befriend the sea often, I trust they would also transform into generous and straightforward souls.

其他非文学类体裁翻译

人工智能正以难以想象的速度重塑世界：ChatGPT等大模型不仅能高效处理海量数据，甚至已可按照人们的要求，批量地创作诗歌、小说。文艺工作者的忧虑因此油然而生——文学创作是否终将被冰冷的算法取代？我认为虽然AI对文学创作影响巨大，但不会取代创作者，甚至导致文学创作的消亡。未来的文学创作中，AI的角色应该是一个很好的辅助工具。

Artificial intelligence is reshaping our world at an unimaginable pace: Large models like DeepSeek can not only process vast amounts of data with remarkable efficiency, but they can also generate poetry and fiction in bulk, tailored to human requests. This has understandably stirred anxiety among literary professionals—will the algorithms eventually replace human literature? While I acknowledge AI’s profound impact on fiction, novels, or poetry, I believe it will neither replace human creators nor lead to the demise of literature. Instead, AI should serve as a valuable assistant in the future of literary creation.

首先，AI表现出的强大生产力源自于他庞大数据库的支持，这也意味着AI的创作是局限于数据库而缺乏创造力的。文学的灵魂从不来自精巧词句的排列组合，而根植于人类心灵深处那****、无可替代的日常经验。苏童曾分享一篇他认为很有“突袭感”的文章。文章大致讲的是回忆父亲，主人公和父亲关系冷淡、冲突频繁。最后一笔，文章如此写道：他在父亲去世大概一个月以后，看到盥洗台上有一只剃须刀。他无意当中，“吧嗒”一下把剃须刀的盖子打开了。他父亲的胡须茬应声散落出来。这样的突袭感给予共情的读者的心灵以震撼，心中的五味杂陈在胡须茬散落的时候一并迸发出来。这样基于生活细节而产生的情感冲击是AI写作难以企及的。

Firstly, AI’s impressive productivity stems from its massive databases, which also means its "creations" are confined by data and lack creativity. The soul of literature never arises from clever arrangement of words but is rooted in the unique, irreplaceable life experiences deep within the human heart. Novelist Su Tong once shared an article he described as possessing a powerful sense of "sudden emotional ambush." The piece recounted memories of the（protagonist’s father）(谁的父亲？是苏童的父亲还是主人公的父亲？）, depicting a relationship(谁与谁之间的relationship?) marked by coldness and frequent conflict. In its final passage, the article reads: About a month after his father's death, he saw a razor on the wash stand. He unintentionally clicked it open, and his father’s stubble scattered out. This sudden ambush delivers a shock to the empathetic reader's heart. Such a profound emotional impact, born from intimate life details, is beyond the reach of AI-generated writing.
